PIWC Activities
The PIWC has activities on an almost daily basis. Something for everyone.
Thursdays are official club days.
- 1st Thursday of the each month is when the committee meet. All members are invited and encouraged to attend, whether a committee member or not.
- 2nd Thursday is a casual coffee morning at Starbucks in Central. This provides a good opportunity for new members to come along and meet others.
- 3rd Thursday is a terrific luncheon held in one of the fine restaurants of Phuket. Each month the location changes giving members a chance to get to know places they may not otherwise visit.
- 4th Thursday is again a coffee morning held at a member's house - a great way of seeing new parts of the island and discussing private or club matters. Occasionally there will be an alternative activity on this day such as the ever popular Phuket Old Town Walk, Thai cooking lessons or trips to local businesses like Thaisarco or The Irony
Other Activities include:
- Mahjong 9.30 a.m till 12.30 alternating at a member's house on Mondays
- Bridge at 1.30 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday at The Phuket Country Club.
- Golf on Tuesdays at 1 p.m. at Laguna Phuket Golf Club
- Tennis on Wednesday at 8 a.m. at the Arcadia Hilton
- Monthly dinners and Sundowners with partners and friends
