Wipa Tanmanatragul President Wipa has been a member since 1994 As a young girl, WIPA was able to get a scholarship, from an open scholarship foundation formed after the Vietnam war, and studied at a High School in the USA. She managed to get another scholarship from the Rotary Club to do nursing training in Australia for 4 years. She came back to Thailand and married 21 years ago, and had a daughter. Once her daughter was educated, she decided to join the PIWC, and help the needy children receive their education in a similar manner.

Sue Arnulphy - Treasurer
Sue has been 10 years in Phuket and a member of the club for 8 of those years. She is British and is retired here with her husband after 30 years in Hong Kong. She has enjoyed her two year spell as president and is keen to remain involved with the good work of the club. |

Margaret Spratt - Memberships
From Australia Margaret has been a member of PIWC for almost 6 years and a committee member for most of that time. Her club interest now is in Scholarships and Membership of which she is the current coordinator.

Wendy Stanford Wendy and her husband have only recently come to live on the beautiful island of Phuket, having previously worked in the UK, the Caribbean andthe Middle East.
As an ex teacher, she recognizes the importance of making education accessible to all. | |
Jackie Bettles - Consultant Webmaster Jackie is from the UK and moved to Phuket 3 years ago. She works as an ITConsultant and in her spare time likes to play golf. She joined the PIWC to meet people andbecome involved in local activities.
| Anita is Irish - a minority grouping in PIWC - and a journalist. She joined the club 6 years ago when she found it on the website. Immediately after her life in Phuket changed, from the isolation she had previously felt, to one of friendship, activities - Mah Jong and Aquacize among them - and involvement in the charity. Her particular interests in the club are PR, the monthly newsletter and the annual gala ball - Phuket's social event of the year - which also raises a lot of money for the charity

Barbara Wiley
From the United States, Barbara and her husbandrelocated to Phuket for her husband's work in July 2008.
She joined the PIWC a year ago as an opportunity to meet other women on the island and feels that this was a very good decision.
Barbara still works as a Travel Consultant through her office in the United States and enjoys traveling,reading, and the fun activities of the PIWC with her new friends.
